The Best iPad 3 Screen Protector

So, you just got the iPad 3 and you want to show it off to all your friends. There's just one problem- you want it to look the same as it does from the factory when you do, and you've got to play with it far too much in the meantime for it to stay in perfect condition. Well, you're in luck, because today I will be presenting two screen protectors that will keep your investment looking shiny and new. These are the GreatShield EZseal Plus and the ClearCal iPad Screen Protector. Both of these products retail for $19.95.

Installing The iPad 3 Screen Protector Is Easy:

The major difference between these two is the way they install. The GreatShield attaches to the iPad's frame and never actually makes contact with the screen. This means a bubble free installation, but it also means the image on the screen won't be quite as clear. The ClearCal protectors are more traditional, attaching to the screen itself with an adhesive. Installing the ClearCal protectors is more of a challenge, but the end result should be superior.

ClearCal iPad Screen Protector Features:

Applying Any iPad 3 Screen Protector Easily:

As far as value goes, you're likely getting a better deal with the ClearCal. Since those screen protectors install onto the screen directly, though, you might need to use them both for one installation if you make any mistakes. The GreatShield only comes one to a package, but the installation is basically foolproof.

Unless you scratch up the protector, you shouldn't need to replace it anytime soon.

My Conclusion To The Best iPad 3 Screen Protector:

Due to the slight reduction in screen clarity when using the GreatShield, I recommend the ClearCal as the best choice to keep your iPad safe at the $20 price point. So all in all I think it is definitely worth it to get one, because your device is expensive. Keeping it scratch free, dirt free and oil free is important because you always want to keep your new retina display looking fresh. The worst thing ever is to get a brand new iPad and get a scratch right in the middle of the screen.
